Actors aren’t just in TV shows and movies anymore…more and more actors are claiming their fame through YouTube®! You can get in on this exciting new trend, where you’ll build your acting skills, boost your confidence, and prepare yourself to make awesome YouTube-style videos!

Give Your Videos an Edge. We on acting methods and techniques that are often used in creating engaging YouTube® videos. With so many new skills, you will be ready to take your videos to the next level.  

Express Yourself.  Students explore the importance of being natural, using improvisation, tips and tricks for memorizing lines, and getting comfortable in front of an audience. Students can develop their emotional range while experimenting with pitch, projection, cadence, and dramatics. Students put their new skills to the test by scripting and acting in a variety of popular YouTube scenarios such as How-To Videos, Vlogs, Reaction Videos, Comedies, Skits, and more!  Although YouTube-style videos are not made in this class, these scenarios will prepare you for as an actor for our YouTube® Video Production Classes! 

Improv is Key. Students also learn the importance of working organically with other actors and actresses, using teamwork, active listening, and playing off each other to bring the performance to life.  This class may open up a new passion for a student or cultivate an existing one, and is designed to prepare our students for success both on and off camera. 

Build Self-Confidence. Our classes provide training and experiences that improve skills in theater and public speaking, by teaching and refining skills that benefit student in front of a camera as well as a live audience. This camp is a great opportunity for self-exploration, challenging yourself, bringing out the best in you, and being creative. If you can perform in a public setting, you can do just about anything!
